I have been a mortgage and protection broker since 2009, starting at the largest whole of market mortgage brokerage in the country before moving to a high street bank where I advised customers in-branch. After being promoted to a senior adviser at Which?, I wanted a challenge so I moved to a small mortgage brokerage who specialised in hard to place cases such as expats, sports people, self-employed customers and timber framed properties. I really enjoy getting to know my customers and building a relationship with them – I strongly believe that there is a mortgage for everyone and I am the right person to help you find it!
Originally from Derbyshire, after graduating I moved to Bristol and 10 years later I have settled south of the river with my partner and our Springer Spaniel, Reggie. I am a keen runner and football fan; I have a season ticket at Ashton Gate and I always keep my eye on my childhood team of Leeds United.
I have worked as a mortgage and protection broker since 2011 for both large and smaller, more bespoke brokerages. I get most enjoyment from getting my teeth stuck into a tricky scenario and helping find a solution for clients that don’t necessarily fit the standard high street lender criteria.
I’m Bristol born and bred, and have purchased a home with my wife and son only 10 minutes away from the house I grew up in. In my downtime I enjoy playing guitar, a hobby which I have been dedicated to for 20 years. I also enjoy cycling and keeping fit having completed Marathons and several long-distance bike challenges. I think one of these hobbies will have to be pushed to the sidelines for now as my wife and I have recently welcomed our first child into the family!
